What sort of search do you want to do? |
||
Library web pages |
You can search the contents of the Library web pages via our Google search form or browse by using our site map. |
|
Search Library Collections |
Use our SUPrimo
integrated search service to find items in the University of Strathclyde Library
collections, including books, journal titles, electronic resources,
theses, exam papers, media resources. |
|
Search Electronic databases |
You can choose a database by subject from our subject
list. Or (if you
know a database by name and know it covers your subject) choose a database
by title. Most databases give you lists of journal articles that may
or may not be in the Library - you have to check in the Library catalogue
to find out. Our lists of databases are highly relevant to
your coursework! |
|
Search the World Wide Web |
Searching the World Wide Web will give you a long list of
web pages from any site in the world. This is the most wide ranging search
you can do. There is a danger of finding too much material that is not
relevant to your search. Searching the Library catalogue or a Library
database may well avoid this danger, because we only select books,
journals and databases that are relevant to Strathclyde students and
researchers. |
